A too cold desert

When night casts its shadows over the desert
And the sun is covered by the earth
The heat of the day fades quickly away
A slight shiver catches the body unexpectedly

In the evening without further thinking about
I lay down in a secure place
Away from people and away from the fire
Completely retired onto myself

I wake up before sunset
Cold and frozen
All warmth has disappeared
No fire is left

Still waiting for the rising sun…
